The Alice Springs Netball Association Board met with ASNA Club Representatives on Thursday 04/05/23 to discuss continued scheduled clashes between ASNA Netball Games and recently moved Women’s CAFL Fixtures. It was unanimously decided between ASNA clubs that the Netball schedule up until Round 9 will remain as published. After this period, ASNA are hopeful that some further clarity will be achieved with consistent fixturing for the CAFL competition.

Although the ASNA schedule will remain unchanged, ASNA are committed to working with our clubs to achieve flexibility of scheduling within our Saturday timeslots to best suit those teams that are individually affected by scheduling clashes.

ASNA would like to ensure our members that we are monitoring this situation and will aim to provide the best possible solution for all Netball members. As the largest Sporting organisation in Alice Springs ASNA remain committed to ensuring the promotion of not only Netball, but Women’s sport as a whole in the local community.
