A hard-fought win enabled Wests Epilogue to consolidate its second position on the KFC Alice Springs Netball Association Division 1 premiership ladder on Saturday. It defeated Federal Eastside White 36-30. Again, it was goal attack Matilda Herben who led the way with 25 goals for the match. Federal had won the opening stanza 10-6 but Wests dominated the middle two 21-10 to hold a seven-goal advantage at the break. Herben shot 17 goals in the second and third quarters.
Wests also had a strong defence in the circle of Margaret Smith and Ebony Miller to counter the Federal attacking moves.

Rovers Complete Construction showed the class of top side in defeating Wests Gillen Club 76-22. Coach Leanne Southam used eight players up to three-quarter time and then gave Milly Scollen a run in the final stanza. Rovers went from strength to strength scoring 14 goals in the first term and then 20, 20 and 21 goals in the subsequent terms. But it was not only in attack that Rovers was dominant. It kept Wests to three and then four goals in the third and fourth terms. Federal Eastside
Red was denied the chance of boosting its percentage when Rovers TDC could not field a team in the other Division 1 game.

The closest game of the day was in Division 2 when Rovers Complete Construction defeated Federal AKC 34-32 thanks largely to a 10-4 second term. In Division 2, Seasons won an even game against Neata Glass Giants 36-31 thanks to a 10-5 third quarter. The goals flowed in the fourth quarter of the game between Federal Angels and Sundowners Alice Hospitality Supplies with 31 goals scored in the 15 minutes before Federal finished 53-45 ahead. At least 20 goals were scored in each quarter. Seasons Flinders University controlled the game against Wests Jaws Contracting from the first term when it scored 11 goals to five. Seasons won the game 49-34.

In Division 3, Wests Footy Girls won three of the four quarters to defeat Giants GSD Solutions 54-32. Ali Revington scored 32 at goal attack for Wests. Federal Queens, with Lily Murphy shooting 39 goals, defeated Rovers BnTz 52-26. Four steady quarters enabled Federal Swifts to defeat Federal P&V Flames 37-29.

The closest Division 4 game was Raging Rovers' 36-18 victory against Sundowners Gap View Hotel. Giants Dreamers overcame Wests Loco Burrito 49-31 with an even second term with both sides scoring 10. The other games in Division 4 were a 43-13 win by Seasons against Sundowners Club Eastside and Wests Jaws Contracting defeating Giants Alice Kustom Paint Supplies 47-15.

A 17-goal second term put Wests on the path to defeating Giants Bark 'n' Bath 44-39 in the 17-andunder Division. Rovers Ravens was too strong for sister-side Rovers Wreckers 37-21 and Federal Red was too strong for Rovers Raptors winning 53-15.
