The surprise of the third round of the KFC Alice Springs Netball Association Division One on Friday night was Lauren Parai coming into the game at half time. It was a clash between the top two sides, Rovers Complete Construction and Federal Eastside White. She had been on the bench watching the game and came on to play centre for Rovers with the scores locked at 19 each The move worked as Rovers rattled on 13 goals to take a four-goal lead into the final stanza.
Federal responded to the challenge but fell one goal short with the final score 40-39.

Four even quarters enabled Wests Epilogue to defeat Federal Eastside White 49-45. Federal outscored Wests in the first and last quarters. But Wests held a six-goal lead at the three-quarter time break after scoring 13 goals in the preceding quarter.

Seasons had its first win of the season with a 42-33 success against Wests Gillen Club. The win was built on a dominant third term when Seasons scored 11 goals to four. Seasons had ĺead 24-20 at the half-time break and although Wests battled hard in the fourth term, it only reduced the deficit by two. Neata Glass Giants had the bye.

A haul of 36 goals by Tilly Muir powered Sundowners Alice Hospitality Supplies to a 50-32 win against Rovers Complete Construction in Division Two. Muir began well, playing goal shooter, netting 15 goals in the first quarter while the defenders combined well to restrict Rovers to four goals. Nicole Little shot 12 goals for Rovers as it fought back in the third quarter to score 13 goals but this hardly dented Sundowners' lead.

In other Division Two games Federal Swifts defeated Giants Alice Springs Brewing Co 34-28, Wests Jaws Contracting finished strongly to overcome Federal Angels 29-24 and Seasons Flinders University overran Rovers TDC 35‐18.

In the 17-and-under Division Wests came from a goal behind at three-quarter time to defeat Rovers Wreckers 37-34. Wests also had a good second term when it outscored Rovers 10-4. Rovers had begun well scoring 13 goals, which it repeated in the third term, but Wests held sway in the other two. Rovers Ravens had a 10-goal win against sister-side Rovers Raptors after an even first quarter. Ravens began to take control with a nine goals to five second term and increased its lead by three in each of the next two quarters. Federal Red thrashed Giants Bark 'n' Bath 61‐20.
